Tandoori King Prawns

Ingredients:

Prawns - 12, king size


Ajwain seeds - 1 tsp


Chaat masala - 1 tsp


Garam masala - 1 tsp


Garlic paste - 3 tbsp


Ginger paste - 3 tbsp


Lemon juice - 1/2 cup


Salt to taste


Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp



Tandoori Powder - 2 tsp

White butter for Basting


Yoghurt - 2 cups

Method:


1. Keep aside 2 tbsp of the lemon juice.


2. In a bowl, mix the rest of the lemon juice with the ginger and garlic pastes.


3. Add salt, ajwain seeds, yogurt, tandoori powder, garam masala and turmeric and mix well to prepare the marinade.


4. Dip in the prawns and let them marinate for 2 hours.


5. Put them in a Tandoor / Grill until done.


6. Sprinkle with chaat masala and the reserved lemon juice.

9. Serve with a green salad.
